Just a few notes: Brian (frozentundrafan) had a patented Nutcan "tough-luck" fielder's choice that scored a run. It should have scored two, but I was tagged out as I pulled a Jeremy Giambi and failed to slide into home. Partial credit to Jon for Cory's run scored, as Jon was acting as a courtesy runner for an injured Cory. Speaking of which, kudos to Cory for toughing out the rest of the game on an injured ankle. Finally, blame for the loss goes to Jeremy and Sarah for deserting their team in the middle of the playoffs. I am declaring that one "Run Created" should be deducted from each of their stats. I'm not exactly sure what happened since I was running at the time (and since Jon was running for Cory, I'm not sure he saw either), but somehow Sam (who was on first) got out at second base. I assumed (since this sort of play happens about once a game for us) that the outfielder got to the ball quickly and forced Sam out at second. Perhaps I was too quick to assume, if anyone has a better recollection of what happened let me know and we can adjust the book.
