Steelers 21 @ Patriots 28

	Jeremy People got all up in arms over the Steelers signing Michael Vick because he's still regarded by many as the worst human being ever to play football despite the fact that I don't know if we're sure he's even the worst person playing quarterback for the Steelers.
	Sarah As long as Tom Brady is suspended, I'm going Steelers. Going through my old blog posts, at one point I called Brady "Tom Bradyliscious". Sigh. Note: Since Brady's suspension was lifted (still a cheater) I've switched my pick to the Patriots.
	Jon It's the Thursday Night Opener! Or as I call it, a Thursday night during baseball season. If Bill Simmons and his various theories are to be believed, Brady and Belichick get themselves extra ramped up to stick it to anyone who "wrongs" them by sticking it to their opponents. So I guess we are supposed to expect the Patriots to win by 73 or so.

Packers 31 @ Bears 23

	Jeremy I don't know who the hell Davante Adams is, but he better get me mad fantasy points...yo. Well, or not, I guess. I suppose either way is good.
	Sarah As long as Rodgers isn't hurt, I feel pretty confident about this pick. Poor Jordy, he will be missed.
	Jon The Cubs are looking pretty good.

Giants 26 @ Cowboys 27

	Jeremy People might be too high on the Cowboys, and too low on the Giants, but I think the Cowboys take this one.

	Jeremy Not often you see players just straight swapped in the NFL, let alone starting quarterbacks. A point of intrigue. This game better not go into overtime.
	Sarah Eagles seems like they can score at will.
	Jon This game will be filmed in front of a live studio audience.

Vikings 3 @ 49ers 20

	Jeremy For the first time in my life I can say this: I have money on this game, so the Vikings better win. Really they better win anyway, despite, IMHO inexplicably, being 1 point underdogs. (Which, kinda sorta means favored by 2 but on the road, but still.) The 49ers may or may not show up with a full roster of guys. Also, figures the first Viking game of life in Florida is the "gets done at 4am eastern" late week one MNF game.
	Sarah 49ers lost half their team and they seemed to have lost faith in Kaepernick. Because the hubs bet on this game in Vegas for the Vikings to win, I'm going to pick them to win so we can get some monies.
	Jon I could not be higher on the Vikings than I am. Well, ok, I could be. But I do feel good about their team. Lots of good players on the roster. Good coaches. Bridgewater seems to be the real deal. Let's have some fun.
