JeremyToughy. Both really good teams, without any major flaws, which both yet somehow seem fatally flawed somehow.

My angle on this is that the Seahawks have a much larger Packers/Wisconsin footprint than the Broncos. So I'm going with that (at least for now). |

Seahawks and their Packer/Wisconsin ties: John Schneider, GM (formerly with the Packers, and a native of DePere, Wisconsin (just outside of Green Bay)) Scot McCloughan, Personnel Executive (former Packers scout) Darrell Bevell, Offensive Coordinator (former Badgers QB, former Packers QB coach) Marquand Manuel, defensive assistant coach (former Packers DB) Kippy Brown receivers coach (former packers assistant) Pat Ruel, assistant offensive line coach (former packers assistant) Mondray Gee, strength and condition coach (same role with the Packers) Russell Wilson, QB (UW Badger) Chris Maragos, FS (UW Badger) O'Brien Schofield, LB (UW Badger) John Ryan, Punter (former Packer) Breno Giacomini, Tackle (former packer) Broncos and their Packers/Wisconsin ties: Montee Ball, RB (UW Badger) Paris Lenon, LB (former Packer) Lenny McGill, scout (former packers scout) Clearly Seattle has the edge. note: to properly site my sources, I got some of the information here. |

Dating back to 2006, I am 1-6 in my Super Bowl predictions (abstained from making a pick in 2010). Although as much as I want to belive that I was correct picking the Giants in 2011 and the Patriots in 2009 according to NutCan, my record in the big game is somewhat poor. Based on my pick this year, I'd suggest putting a large sum of money on the Broncos.

Patriots 16 @ Broncos 26
Jeremy
If the Pats win Tom Brady will have at least made the Superbowl in half his seasons. (Or so I've seen.)Sarah
Tired of it.Jon
In theory, I was leaning toward the Patriots the last few days. But I can't seem to actually pick them. But I'm not sure I feel comfortable with the Broncos either. But they've got more offensive threats, they've had fewer losses, they're at home, and I want them to win.
