Does the NFL have some vested interest in the Patriots going undefeated? Why was that touchdown at the end of the first half not reviewed? That is about as close a play you can have in football and they didn't even review it. On top of that, there seemed to be a decent chance that the play would have been overturned. Once again it would appear the Vikings have positioned themselves nicely to make a run for the best team to not make the playoffs. Ultimately getting a middle of the road draft pick to try and improve a team that needs impact players, but not getting any players in free agency because the current team "showed promise." 5-6 with the following down the stretch: DET, @ SF, CHI, WAS, @ DEN. 10-6 isn't inconceivable, 9-7 is possible, 8-8 is actually fairly likely. By all accounts they aren't that good, but they've also hung around in all their losses, save for one, and destroyed some decent teams. Add to that fact that All Day Adrian Peterson could crack off 250 yards against anyone. Would a team be worried to see the Vikings come to town in round one, or thank their lucky stars? Regardless of what the outcome would have been though, how in the world do you not review that play. I have seen much much less obvious calls reviewed in the final two minutes. And in my estimation, I don't think the receiver had control until after his first foot left the ground. He then got one toe inbounds and his knee landed out of bounds. Even if they would have still called it a touchdown, it is almost a travesty for the system that it didn't even get a booth-called review.		Rate this comment Yours: Rated 0 times.

Regardless of what the outcome would have been though, how in the world do you not review that play. I have seen much much less obvious calls reviewed in the final two minutes. And in my estimation, I don't think the receiver had control until after his first foot left the ground. He then got one toe inbounds and his knee landed out of bounds. Even if they would have still called it a touchdown, it is almost a travesty for the system that it didn't even get a booth-called review. Well, just because the booth didn't call an official review doesn't mean they didn't look at it. Al and John made way too big a deal out of it. That's really sad. I heard he was critical, but the media loves to throw that word around and only about 50% of the time does it refer to the actual "diagnosis" of critical. It wasn't until last night when they said after, or during, the game that his family was told to "pray for a miracle" that I realized how serious the situation was.
