MattChad Pennington: Gamer, not a gamer, or Canadian?
JonThe Jets could go big in an AFC beat down.
SarahI hate Target |
Vikings 13 @ Bears 23 |
JeremyMaybe they won't fumble this away.
MattI'm still picking them, but the Vikings are probably going to need a big collapse from Grossman to win this game.
JonWhy not? It could happen. After all, no one runs against the Vikings and Grossman can only throw interceptions right? That's accurate right? He's 0 for 32 with 32 interceptions in the last two games. I think someone said that once.
SarahI hate Best Buy. |
Panthers 24 @ Eagles 27 |
JeremyWhat in the world would I have to say for this game?
MattSteve Smith for MVP!!!!
JonTeams like the Panthers make the NFL dumb. Just suck or don't suck, but pick one.
SarahWhy don't we have a Circuit City or Toys R Us? |

Yay for games on Thursday because I would've picked Baltimore! Actually games on Thursday is a reallllly dumb idea. They're just trying to milk more money out of it, but I'm not buying it. |

(That blank comment by Matt is because I accidentally commented with his name and then had to delete it. I rated it a five too.) obviously that's a ridiculous statement Jeremy. No points. But the "champion" whether it's official or in everyone's mind really has to be whoever has the most "wins" otherwise if people want a good percentage they'll just pick certain games. I'll just pick one game a year and hope it goes my way. But then again, I don't do it for the competition, I do it for the fans. Or the kids. I forget which ones. The kid fans? The fans who are kids. Who am I kidding, I do it in hopes that I'll appear smarter than everyone else. Ok, this year it hasn't really gone as well as I hoped. |

Don't you hate it when other people complain and make it all about themselves? On an unrelated note, here's a question. Why???????????????Why can I not pick games correctly this year? Someone help me, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm losing all my credibility!!!! I'm a fraud! I know nothing about sports!!!! Still, I like it when he wins at that game that he plays. |

Get this. I was in Flordia for weekend, (80 degrees by the way) and both the Packer and the Viking games were on TV. How weird is that. Lots of midwesterners down there I guess. |

There are many people that grow up in the area and dream of living somewhere warm. People that live in places like that wish they lived someplace that seemed more "wildernessy". The grass is always greener on the other side. |

Well, the grass is somewhat brownish in places even down there right now. And Melissa and I are moving down to Tampa in May or June for her to go to school for physical therapy at University of South Florida. Should be fun. |

So I went shopping today in the cities and thought i would check the various stores to see if they had any Wiis. Two GameStops did not have any, but then I went into Circuit City. I went to the video game section, and there they were! 4 Wiis just lying on the bottom shelf. My heart stopped. My feet stopped. Could this be? Finally my feet and brain connected and I rushed to those beautiful boxes and picked one up. It was oddly light. I looked at the box closely and in the corner it said for display only. I looked at all the boxes. They all said the same thing! Then, behind an object that had blocked my original view was a huge poster that said that they were temporarily out of Wiis. I have never been more crushed. I rushed out of the store feeling like an idiot. I guess I will have to wait a little longer. |

nope, but there was a "This quarterback started his 200th career game and a day that was named after him." Hmmm, Anthony Dilweg? |

My family got together in celebration for the first few "Brett Favre Days", sadly the holiday has become oft forgotten like Flag Day or Columbus Day. As a federal employee my dad does get Brett Favre Day off every year though. White Bay Packers anyone? |

Yeah I was confused by the Vikings/Bears over Lions/Pats as well. My only guess was that whoever was showing the Jets game owned the rights to Lions/Pats as well. |

I don't care.Jon
I finally believe Baltimore is a good team so they'll probably lose this one, but Cincinnati will have trouble since they can't stop anyone.
