Packers 20 @ Buccaneers 13 |
JeremyThe Packers (along with the Vikes) can't win in Tampa. I don't know what it is. 2 games below .500 might hurt but if it's any constilation the Vikes would screw up a chance for a 3 game pad.
MattHey, Sarah...The blame goes to Brett Favre.
JonIf the Buccaneers are as effeminate as Capt. Jack Sparrow was, they could have a tough time. But, I'm not picking the Packers.
SarahOk, I just need to keep the faith. WHAT HAPPENED Monday night??? Where does the blame go? I think the offense should've gotten a first down on the drive before the Eagles scored the winning TD. But, the coaches picked those plays. Should I blame the defense? They were great until the coaches put them in prevent. Argh. I want a cool batman ring from Ahman Green. Good game getting the record that was previously held by Dorsey Levens, but enough with the fumbles! I called the Najeh Davenport fumble as soon as I saw he had gotten the ball. Can't give the ball to him too many times or he will fumble. It's all about stats man. Let's see the two teams who were vying for home field advantage last year are now trying not to get eliminated from the playoffs in this game. YES! Warren Sapp is an ass. |
Cowboys 0 @ Patriots 12 |
JeremyWhat can you say about the Cowboys?
MattTroy Brown might be the most underrated receiver of the last 4 years. Oh yeah, and Doug Flutie rocks.
JonLet's be real...this one's all about the coaches. Bill Parcells is called the Big Tuna. You should always buy dolphin safe tuna. New England beat the Dolphins. Therefore, New England should win.
SarahAh Bill Parcells is meeting all of his ol' teams this year. And each time he has, he kicks the crap out of them. Gotta go with the tuna on this one, even though the Pats have been playing very well. |
Steelers 14 @ 49ers 30 |
JeremySan Fran seems to win big or lose big. I'll take my chance on them getting it together for this week.
MattOn a side note, I think "Back To The Future" may be the greatest movie of all time.
JonIt's tough to go against Bill Cowher, but...San Francisco.
SarahThis is a MNF game? Screw that. Still haven't seen Doug Fluties and BNL perform though, so I will stay tuned. |

Brewers fan or not, pray for the Brewers. For those fans who have followed this team for as high of a percentage of their life as I have, pray for that the Brewers make the right decisions in the next 48 hours. That's all I have to say about that. |

Two boys were playing football in a Minneapolis area park when one is attacked by a Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy rips off a plank of the nearby fence, wedges it down the dog's collar & twists, breaking the dog's neck, saving the other boys life. A reporter who was strolling by sees the incident, and rushes over to interview the boy. "Vikings Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal," he starts writing in his notebook. "But I'm not a Vikings fan," the boy replied. "Bears Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack," the reporter starts again. "I'm not a Bears fan either," the boy said. "Then what are you?" the reporter asked. "I'm a Packer fan." the boy said. The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes, "Redneck Bastard Kills beloved Family Pet." |

Man, that is sick and twisted, and not because I'm a Packer fan, it's just kinda sick. Just thought I'd mention that. |

Just for the record, I DID NOT spell Favre's name wrong last week. Seems someone was pulling a little prank on me. Just wanted to straightened that out. Thanks for your time. |

The Vikings officially suck. 6-10 NFC North Champions. They had about 27 chances to win the game and didnt make good on any of them. For 6 weeks nothing could go wrong, now nothing is going right. Nibb high football rules! |

Since I have been following football, which started when I was about 8 or 9 (i'm 20 now) in debut year, I have never known what it is like to through a losing season concerning the Packers. I feel pretty lucky to be living in the era that I am. The Brewers are a little bit of a different story. Go Pack! |

There was a lot of incoherent, typo'ed, jumble in that last comment of mine, but i'm too lazy to do anything about, so disregard it if you want. |

Anyone check the ESPN Power Ratings for this week? The Packers (12) finally crawled back up above the Vikings (14). |

Not that I'm argueing with it, although I am somewhat, the only reason that is so is that they have lost all the games in a row. If they were alternating wins and losses like alot of other teams to be 6-4 they would be above the Packers. |

Yeah, I know what you are saying. College football rankings work the same way a lot of times. |

The Bucs have deactivated Keyshawn. That sucks for a team in a virtually must win out situation. |

Vikings 18 @ Raiders 28
Jeremy
The Vikings whooped up on Oakland in the preseason, of course that's before the defense checked out for the season. However, harp on the D all you want, they were one screw job on a blocked punt and 3 points from 2 more wins despite nightmarish defensive outings. If the D can get back to adaquate, look out again. That was quite the clinic Flutie put on last week. Look for it to continue in Denver and perhaps another few times after that before he gets benched for some loser.Matt
Ok, so the Vikings defense sucks...luckily the Raiders offense sucks as well. Minnesota 47 - Oakland 12Jon
Rich Gannon threw for what, like 4000 yards last year? Rick Mirer (Oakland's starting quarterback) should be able to throw for at least that many this week. Wake up the echoes! Vikings 433 Oakland 375.Sarah
Ah, The good ol' Vikes. They are playing the Raiders, a team which they trounced in the preseason. The Raiders have yet to wake up from their Super Bowl nightmare. Get over it already, ya lost! I think they are on their 3rd or 4th QB, so maybe I should pick the Vikes. Just because I want to statistically do well with my picks, I am going with the MN team. BOO
