Colts 21 @ Commanders 26 |
JeremyAm I the only person in America not completely enamored with Spurrier? Granted I admit if he had a Brett Favre to work with the fun and gun would have more success but people made it seem like he could march into the NFL with a team of fifth graders and they would be unstoppable.
MattThe Colts are coming off a loss last Monday and Shane Matthews will be out to prove he is the No. 1 QB for the Potatoes. Advantage: Washington 31 - 21.
JonWho is the quarterback for the Redskin Potatoes this week? Is this the point where I make the obligatory Steve Spurrier reference? The offenses involved could create quite the interesting game. Really though, this game is going up against Game 7 of the World Series, so unless the baseball game is a huge blowout, I really don’t plan to watch this matchup anyway. I’m just happy to pick the Colts again. |
Giants 3 @ Eagles 17 |
JeremyPhiladelphia is playing good football right now. This should be a good game. Both division rivals need this one.
MattI like the Giants more than the Eagles, so I'm going with them.
JonJust think what Lee Majors would have been called if he had an NFL contract. And he didn’t even have Campbell’s Chunky Soup to help him. The Eagles should win this one. |

Bears 7 @ Vikings 25
Jeremy
This very well may be that last time I pick the Vikings for a while. The Bears are struggling against other teams. The Vikings are struggling against themselves. They rank at the top in many categories (Top ranked offense in the NFC, 3rd ranked rushing defense in the NFC) Unfortunately they rank at the bottom of the Giveaway/Takeaway ratio. (Green Bay ranks at the top of this same list) For those of you like Matt here who think Bouman is the answer just remember he'd still get .00003 seconds worth of pass protection.Matt
2 words.......Todd BoumanJon
Daunte needs some protection, that’s no secret. Meanwhile, Bryant McKinnie has been unavailable longer than Sombrita the baby goat. I’m no NFL expert, but I really don’t see much of a chance for McKinnie to make money from this holdout. Regardless, the Bears are on a bit of a slide, and although the Vikings still can’t play, I think they can take this one. And I think some of you might agree with me on this: Jim Kleinsasser for MVP!!!!
