Bears 9 @ Dolphins 27 |
JeremyMiami should run away with this one. I saw a sports writer recently reference the 'blunder' that was the ancient "wedding" photo of Ricky Williams and Mike Ditka and I was a bit stunned I mean first of all that was so long ago, secondly they "divorced" soon after and thirdly it was hilarious. Then they wonder why he leaves his helmet on when these people interview him.
MattIf there is one good thing about the season for the Bears so far, it's that at 3-9 they're still right in the thick of the LeBron James sweepstakes.
JonMiami is back in warm weather and they have Jay Fiedler. Ricky Williams for MVP!!!!!
SarahChicago is headed no where fast. Miami, like the rest of the AFC seem, to be headed to the playoffs. I'll go with Miami on this one. |

Vikings 22 @ Packers 26
Jeremy
Of the last three years at Lambeau 2 of the games came down to a last second lucky ass play by the Packers to win the game. Last year they barely knocked off the Vikes with Spergon Wynn at the helm. If any one of the page 3 staffers were the quarterback for the Vikings in that game they would have won. This includes Sarah, who would've been trying to do poorly. The Vikes have another one coming at Lambeau and the league owes Minnesota a game. Minnesota got absolutely hosed last week against Atlanta. Tice showed "the play" to the officials, who oked it, later saying the diagram should have included numbers so they knew who was on the left end of the line. Well anyone who has seen 35 seconds of football at any level would know that if there are only 2 guys left of the center they have to be the guard and tackle. Tice and the players knew they should report but the play was oked by the refs. The league then said that it stands behind the refs and that it has always been a rule that anytime a number less than 80 is the furthest out on the line they have to declare themselves eligible before the play. That's why the refs announce before every play that Keyshawn Johnson is eligible I guess. The whole declaring yourself eligible thing is stupid anyway. If anything it's a hindrance to the defense, if they don't report that's one less guy you have to watch. Likewise why not declare an extra guy eligible on every play? It would be one more guy for the D to wonder about. I wonder if I'll be able to sneak my previous use of the word 'ass' past the editor.Matt

OK here’s the thing. Yes, Mike Vick is talented, but could we give that story a rest already? This isn’t about player hating Mike, it’s the media I have a problem with. He ran for 173 yards. Amazing. Well, it was against one of the worst tackling defenses ever. Regardless.....it was impressive. But all this week people have basically named Michael Vick the greatest athlete ever. Come on people.......show some perspective. I’m not sure, but one sportscaster may have named Vick the best British band since the Beatles. When reached for comment, Liam Gallagher said, "judos uwelkj rljsfoai ulk jmcm kjklkjs adlfk klkjdsfla kjklk jldks jak." Oh, just kidding. Page 3 wishes Liam and the rest of Oasis well. Minnesota.Sarah
The Packers are feeling more self confident after winning against their division rival Bears. Hopefully they've put their recent two losses behind them. It's cold, it's at Lambeau, and it should result in a W for the Pack.
