Patriots 20 @ Raiders 27 |
JeremyOakland looked scary the last time I saw them. Look for the Raiders to exact their revenge today.
MattRemember, unless you put the football into a shoebox it's a forward pass, not a tuck. New England 38 - Oakland 31
JonI think New England will win.
SarahThe Raiders have a grudge against the Pats. Well more specifically, Tom Brady and his "tuck" during the play offs last year. This game isn't as big as last year's, but it will have a lot of meaning for the Raiders. Garner will hopefully post some big numbers to help out my fantasy team. |
Bears 16 @ Rams 21 |
JeremyDid the Rams go to the same grocery store to find Marc Bulger? Are there any cornerbacks at this magic store? I wouldn't put Warner back in, would you?
MattChicago is feeling the karmic backlash of their 2001 season and it looks as if Mike Martz's deal with the devil finally kicked in.
SarahSt. Louis is unstoppable and very scary. The Bears haven't won a game since like the 3rd week of the season. Bulger got the go ahead instead of Warner and I can't really blame the Rams. Bulger had over 400 passing yards last week alone. That's a lot. So I am gonna go with the Rams and I don't think anyone can blame me for that. |

Packers 21 @ Vikings 31
Jeremy
The luckiest team in the league vs. the unluckiest. Given the Vikings penchant for handing teams the game and the Packers obligatory 2-3 times a game where they get the ball handed to them in the red zone this one could get ugly in a hurry. This one is a lock. Ahman Green had like 66 yards last season (60 on one fluke run) , did I mention the Vikings had one of the worst run defenses last year? This year they have a good rush defense. Michael Bennett will roll up about 180 yards as the Packers bring the 3rd worst rushing defense in the league to the Metrodome. Daunte Culpepper takes out a seasons worth of frustrations on the Packers or if he isn't getting it done look for Tice to pull the trigger on Bouman fairly early, who will come in with nothing to lose and everything to gain in a bid to show Tice why he shouldn't sit on the bench for the rest of the season. 2-7 and 8-1 don't matter in this rivalry folks. Corey Chavous moved to safety so maybe now the pass defense won't be AS bad. The Packers have only left the Dome smiling twice in the Favre era. Statistically the Vikings are the better team, if they don't beat themselves again, don't look for the Packers to not leave smiling today either.Matt
Minnesota is due a break and the Packers are still overrated. CIA for MVP ???Jon
Minnesota's running back is fast. Michael Bennett for MVP!!!!!Sarah
Am I worried? Yes a little, I know what happens at the Dome when the Packers come to town. Favre has won 2 games at the dome in his career. Whatever happens, happens. I can still hold my head high, but I'd feel better with a win against the 2-7 Vikings. As far as match ups go, Bennett is going to get a lot of yards, I am hoping Green can do the same. Hopefully Favre won't throw more interceptions than he has all season. (4) We'll see if Culpepper will be in the whole game, or if he's too good to finish his own games. :)~ KGB for MVP!!!
