Santana's was deserved and probably a year or two overdue. Hunter, while still a good fielder, is reaping the rewards of reputation at this point.

I was excited to see this because even though a lot of the gold gloves are ridiculous, it makes it more exciting when someone deserving wins. Santana is a really good fielder. Matt and I watched a lot of his starts this year, and it seemed he made at least one fielding play each time that warranted gold glove talk between/among us. By the way, if you're keeping track at home, since his fielding now has been recognized as excellent, his good looks take the top spot in his "underrated qualities" list.
