It's not a democrat or republican problem. Who the crap are these fickle mush heads that format their brains and flip flop every election hoping for a magical solution? Things are shit! Screw republicans, I'm voting Dem! .... Things are still shit! Screw Democrats, I'm voting Republican! We're like football fans that demand the head coach and/or offensive coordinator be changed every year, and every year champion our team's savior, and then when our team takes anytime what-so-ever to get used to the new system, we want the rug yanked out from under them, and want the process to start over, all the while bitching about how our team never seems to be able to "get it together."
