I don't want to have to jump through hoops to watch college sports, but I don't really watch much other than the marquee games. |

Those in the EC area have Charter, and unless things have changed, are still getting crap. Then again that seems to be the mission statement of cable companies. "We'll give you crap and you'll like it. And after you really do start to like it, we'll move it to a different tier that you'll have to pay more for." All that being said, it generally doesn't ruin my day if I can't see a Badger game here or there. College football can be fun, but it's kind of annoying too. I almost like following college football from afar more than watching the actual games sometimes. |

I don't think I've ever hated anything as much as Charter. And that includes music by George Thorogood. |

I almost like following college football from afar more than watching the actual games sometimes. That's interesting. I feel similar, although I like watching the Badgers quite a bit and I've gone to great lengths at times to watch them. But what interesting is the difference in regions. If you said that to someone down in Florida--or someone in the South--they would probably think you are crazy. Crazy because there is seemingly no way someone can think that College football is annoying and the NFL is not. Personally I like the NFL more as well. (Nothing beats baseball though, but that's a different debate. |

College baseball? Just Kidding. It's apples and oranges to compare many college sports to their professional counterparts. I hate watching pro basketball, because it's just point stacking and you can watch highlights to get the good plays from the great players. But I love college basketball. It's more exciting even though the players as a whole aren't as good. |

For the record, I think the NFL is annoying too, but in different ways, and I like it more so I deal with it more. Baseball is way better though. OK, I'm just being dumb, don't pay attention to me. |

The Michigan loss wasn't really a surprise, they lost many of their best players and got a new coach. |

I guess I'm thinking of the old Michigan. My source for M here at work says that he was expecting as much from them in this rebuilding year. Oh well... |

Speaking of college football, can we all agree as a nation that Ohio State should not play in the BCS Championship game this year? Undefeated or not, I will not approve of them playing in this game. As far as I'm concerned, they're on probation this year. Listen Buckeyes, win all the games you want, but no, you are not playing for the title. Take a rest, you had two shots, no one enjoyed the games, come back next season and we'll maybe let you back in. |

The Bills got 4 shots in a row, so I'm not ready to give up on OSU if they go undefeated. Which they won't because Wisconsin will rock their socks off at Camp Randall! |

Which they won't because Wisconsin will rock their socks off at Camp Randall! I thought of the Bills too. But here's where I see a difference: The Bills had to compete against about 14-16 other teams and earned their way there through a playoff system each time. The Buckeyes on the other hand, are competing against wayyy more teams for the Championship slot, many of whom have no shared competitors, and therefore are not always given proper credit, due to voters' perceptions. And it's a system that thrives on perception. But we've seen where that's gotten us and I say "no, thanks." Give me a champion from the SEC, the Big 12, the Pac 10, even the Big East or ACC. But don't give me a Big Ten champ if it's gonna be Ohio State. They are on probation. |

After USC lost, the Badgers were pretty much in the championship game, until they blew a 19 point halftime lead. So basically the season is already over. |

I'm still going to watch this game, but it looks like a loss, and in that case the season is really over. Bench Evridge, let's start the Sherer era. |

Hmmm, on second thought let's maybe skip right to the James Stallons era and see if we can't get a 3.5 year starter for once instead of having a new starter every year. |
