Pretty sweet gig. It's not David Beckham style robbery, but it's pretty close.

The more I look at those numbers the more astounded I become. I didn't really put the numbers in perspective in my own mind at first because I knew they would be off the charts. I'm trying to picture everyone of whom that reads this site and picture what kind of car I knew, or last knew, they have. I'm pretty sure, with the exception of mine since it's fairly new yet, he could buy everyone of our cars in the money he made in one pitch. He could buy almost two of the house Sarah and I own in the amount he makes per strikeout. |

I want to know how much per home run- that way I can sit here and say "Boy, I'd be a millionaire if I threw X pitches, even if they were all homers." |

He hit zero homers so he either earned undefined or infinite $ per homer, depending on how you want to look at it. Dollar amount per home run given up wouldn't really mean anything. It would be like you dividing your total paycheck by the number of sales you didn't make. |
