He is a cockapoo, which is a cocker spaniel mixed with a poodle.

His whining really would not bother me that much, I can sleep through it and he can sit in the kitchen (or his cage) and like it. But my wife on the other hand likes to sleep in, and she knows it and I know it, if she ain't happy, I ain't happy. Plus, we both view it is "my dog" so to speak, so I gladly take the responsibility. On Saturday, he started whining at 4:00am, so I got up and took him for a little walk. It worked until he started whining again at 7:00am. Whatever, I've wanted a dog since I was like 10, so it'll take a lot more than a little lack of sleep for me to have anything close to a regret.		Rate this comment Yours: Total: Rated 1 times.

Except for the fact that it's the exact opposite of what you're "supposed" to do. ie Teaching it that whining will set it free. But, it's natural to want to spoil them a bit right off the bat.		Rate this comment Yours: Rated 0 times.
