So, I have a sneaking suspision (sp) that the Vikings may be for real this year. However, they won't be able to prove it until the end of the year as far as i'm concerned. Here's hoping they have a meltdown next week against whoever they play.

I had a sneaking suspicion they were for real before the season started. They are 4-0 with a DOMINATING D. They're for real, take my word on it.

I'm officially declaring myself an unofficial writer for this page, (ok not really) but I have to admit that the Vikes are probably for real. Even with a journyman back-up they seemingly can't be stopped. Whether or not they have "played anyone" or not is not really an issue at this point. Flat out, they are impressive. Go Pack.

Seeing as you have more content on here than Matt I think he's officially an unofficial writer.

I take umbrage to that remark Jeremy. I may not have as many articles up as you do but, as you well know, I demand a higher quality in my writing and that takes time and effort. I'm not Page 3's most beloved writer for nothing.

You act like the vikings actually have played GOOD teams this year. The combined record of the teams they have played: (4 - 11) You can take away the 4 loses the vikings handed out and your still at (4 - 7). If they are a playoff contender team they SHOULD have beat these teams.

Yeah but the teams they've played are Chicago, GB, Detroit, and SF. Chicago and SF have played each other. Chicago and GB Have played each other. GB and Detroit have played. Someone has to lose those games.

Nice to see you on here Ryan.

You do have a point but you cant honestly tell me that you think either Detriot, Chicago, or really even SF have a good chance at the playoffs. The Bears just/still suck, Detroit is still developing, and the 9ers have more domestic problems within their team than the single mothers at the welfare office.

I don't think the Vikes have played any good teams so far. But sitting at 4-0 (and maybe 5-0 by the time any of you see this) with 3 Division wins, two of which that were on the road, puts them in a very good position. It's not so much that they won games they should have it's how they won. Their defense just needed to be better than not the worst and has responded by being one of the best in almost every category. Their offense is one of the most dangerous in the league in that it is so balanced. Considering they are 4-0 without their now ex #1 TE Chambies, and pro bowl RB Bennett for the season so far, and that Daunte has been out for 1.5 and as of tomorrow 2.5 weeks, and that Moss has been suffering from a bad back all year its a wonder they aren't 0-4. I'm not claiming they are going to ride an undefeated regular season to the Super Bowl, but given HOW theyve gone about winning the games I dont think its too early to say they are for real.

On a semi-related note is there anyone that is as big a cancer to their team as T.O.? He's in a contract year to boot. I just don't get it.
