From KFFL:

"Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre was singing a vastly different tune from the one he delivered at his charity golf tournament in Tunica, Miss., when he met with the media Monday, July 31. He stunned a room full of reporters by stating, "I really feel, as far as talent is concerned, this is the most talented team that I've been part of as a whole." Favre either could not or would not answer how his opinion of the Packers could change so dramatically in such a short period of time. Favre then went out and threw five interceptions at practice. It's the most talented, "but the most unproven, inexperienced team that I've ever played on," said Favre, who is entering his 15th year in Green Bay. "So if we can somehow put it together, there's a lot of talent out there. But when you compare, like, this year to maybe the year we won the Super Bowl, the two years previous to 1996, we weren't a very talented team. We weren't under-talented, but we were very experienced. Sometimes, guys in their first or second year, they show up and make plays and you go, `Whoa, that's why we drafted them.' We have guys who can do that, but it remains to be seen what can happen." Favre said physically he felt every bit his 36 years, but he said his arm was still strong. The worst thing ailing him is a sore left ankle that dates back to surgery he had Feb. 27, 1996."

Assuming this is true wouldn't they be held back by 5 interception performances?

I just figured out the significance of Jeremy's name. It's Vitalogy, which is an Album from probably his favorite band, Pearl Jam. Man, the model of non-observation.

Also, Charles Woodson claimed responsibility to 3 of the 5 ints thrown in practice today. He said he can still play a little bit.

It's Vitalogy and 10 (both pearl jam albums) all cleverly rolled up into one. Also for the record Vitalogy may be my least favorite Pearl Jam album.

(ps it took me about 40 tries to spell Vitalogy with an L and O instead of a 1 and 0)

Thoughs stats make him a Hall Of Fame QB. 3rd All-Time in Passing Yards. He had [/size:67aeab9e73]1[/size:67aeab9e73]bad season, and that was only because Javon Walker got hurt, first game of the season, also his number one recever. Ahman Green got hurt, so we didn't have a running game, which would help out the defence, because they knew we couldn't run, so the stop the pass. He also has the most consecutive starts, (291) in the NFL. Which makes him more pron to throw Ints. The corners watch film of all thoughs years, and learn from him.

Vikings... where to start... where to finish

How about I just comment on the out of left field nature of it and move on?

Favre was commenting on how great the rest of the team is, and then the reporter commented on Favre's lack of greatness during practice. I don't know and I don't care. Super Bowl Bound!

Scott... I've noticed you're a little slow. Vita10gy, Get off my bank, etc. I hope this gets rectified soon.

Tony, that post hurt my brain. I hope school starts soon, and more specifically english class.

That is all.

The only thing relevant about Favre's comments is that it proves he really does love media attention. Because if he seriously believes it, he may still not be recovered from that TD inspiring concussion.

"You'd think after 15 seasons, people would learn to understand Favre, who might be pro football's most honest quote."

I just noticed this. :)

Had I been able to read more than 10% of the post I may have been tempted to rip it apart. It's just too early yet. We need to wait until 5 minutes into week one before we decide who the clearly superior team is.
