Page 3 needs a overhaul. It's time. Unfortunately I'm not very creative. So if any of you have any ideas maybe you can submit some sketches...by which of course I mean other sites we can blatently rip off.

For one thing the color scheme needs to go. I don't like it. I've never really liked it. That's why I made the thing to change the color schemes, but I notice that any time we change the themes for holidays or other reasons the first thing alot of people do is go flip it to the "classic" theme.

Page 3 is the color it is because our namesake Page 2 was these colors, now it's not anymore...not soley anyway.

It's time for a change.

I told you it was lame the first time I saw it bizzo.
One thing that is really cool is if you make the buttons be mini tables with CSS and a simple tag inside, then you can style the buttons however you want. I never really thought of doing something like that, until I saw that the App I'm working on at work does it. Its also really easy to do.

What the hell are these "buttons" you speak of? Do you mean like the "Comment" and "Reset" buttons? because I wouldn't call that a major overhaul.

I know what this is going to lead to, but I'm saying it anyway....

ESPN ranked the toughest players in sports, and guess who is number 1! Yup, Brett Favre. Rank the players and then see who's leading.

Lance Armstrong beat cancer to win one of the toughest sports competitions there is, like 5 times, but I guess a guy who gets hurt all the time but is too pig headed to come out of games even when he's hurting his team is tougher.

Brett Favre isn't even the toughest guy in football. McNair loses a limb or two a season and then actually gets better.

Props to McNair over Farve on this one. McNair is always so hurt I don't think he practices even in preseason, but he always (ok, not quite, but still) plays. Plus, while I'm sure he uses plenty of painkillers, he's never been addicted that we know of. It's the tiebreaker in a very even race. Although Farve usually plays in colder weather which probably increases the pain. I guess it's actually a tie. They're both crazy.

Although.........I really don't think either McNair or Favre can stand up to what hockey's Peter Forsberg and Steve Yzerman have gone through. Forsberg played Game 7 of the 2001 Western Conference semis with a ruptured spleen. and Yzerman has played 15 years with no cartilidge in one of his knees. I don't think Favre is pig-headed. He's a model teammate and a true leader. If you deny that fact then good teammates and on-field leaders are both myths.

One more thing......the poll was about the 4 major sports, cycling didn't qualify. Otherwise, Armstrong would have been a unanymous winner.

That poll is bullshit anyway. I define toughness as who I want on my side during a fight. And I don't want hardly any of those guys if it came down to it. I'll take me and the Hanson Brothers against any three of those 20.

Also, this week's Onion poses some good questions:

Kobe Bryant vs. Teen Wolf
Kerry Wood vs. Henry Rowngartner
Michael Jordan vs. Space Jam Michael Jordan

For the buttons, I just meant in addition to the overhaul, you could make some cool link buttons.

seriously, if you switch the buttons, this place will be completely different. I mean, when I scroll down to enter this comment, if I see that boring grey "comment" button, it's ok, but I see a green monster holding a sign that says "comment" and I click on it and my comment appears, that's pretty cool.

Ricky Williams quit. How screwed are the Dolphins?! The Brewers haven't been so good lately. I guess they're aren't willing to take a shot at the playoffs this year by trading some prospects for someone who can actually hit a baseball. Which is good I guess because they're looking towards the future. But you never know how long it will take them to be that close to the wild-card at the All-Star break again.

I guess everyone must be on vacation. Well, the Wiz matched the Bucks offer sheet for Thomas. So the Bucks haven't signed a single free agent, they lost Skinner, and they haven't resigned any of their 3 free agents. The entire management of the Bucks must be on vacation too. Could be a long season, unless Ford is 100%. The last 2 months for the Brewers is going to be long too if they don't start hitting the freaking ball. They're already down to 3 under .500. And now their pitching is starting to slip a little. Davis and Sheets have still been good, but not good enough to win with 1 run scored per game.
