Jimmy John's

So I went to Jimmy John's today, there were quite a few people waiting for their food. (Maybe five total, but there is usually no one since it takes like no time to make the sandwiches.) Anyway I ordered a "Slim 5" and waited near the door.

I noticed one of the ladies waiting was visibly annoyed. They called off about three people's orders before they called out a Slim 5. I started toward it a few inches but knowing I wasn't supposed to be next I stopped and glanced toward the annoyed lady. She semi stormed across the restaurant grabbed the sandwich and semi stormed out. I felt kinda stupid since I had made like I was going to take her sandwich, and partially responsible to adding to her annoyance.

The Jimmy John’s employees made the next order and as one of them handed it to a woman who had just come in he was like, "Oh, you just ordered didn't you ma’am?" she replied that she had and he said to the other employee "We must have lost an order." then he asked what I had and I told him a Slim 5. He said they just made that and I said yeah, but it was for another lady. He said there was only one ordered.

So apparently they lost the woman’s order but instead of her just telling them "all these people ordered after me" she just got sick of waiting, took my sandwich, and left.
