Peace Groups: G.I. Joe Promotion Way Off Base......Twins: Promotion doesn't glorify war
Instead of worrying about G.I. Joe.... the peace activists should be concerned about freeing Justin Morneau and Michael Cuddyer.

I can see where the other side is coming from though. I don't think it should be a problem, but I can understand why some people might have a problem with it. |

The Brewers are 6 games over .500 (7 if they can hold on and win today), but everyone still acts like they don't exsist. The Cubs and Astros series is soooo important right now and everything, I mean, the Brewers are ONLY 1.5 games ahead of the Astros, and they are way behind the Cubs at 1.5 games back for second place. What do the Brewers have to do to get any respect from ESPN? The Devil Rays are only a .500 team but they get their own spot it seems every night on sportscenter, while the Brewers are just another team that they have to fit in to their schedule. I know 12 losing seasons is enough to put you at the bottom of the barrel for a while, but the Brewers are in a playoff chase. In 4 of the 5 other divisions besides their own they would be in 2nd place or very close to it. Even this morning I heard on ESPN radio that Tom Glavine could be considered the best pitcher in baseball if he only had run support. HELLO!!!! Ben Sheets has been saying that all year!! What does he have to do, strikeout 18 EVERYTIME he goes out there to maybe get his named mentioned as a close 5th in the Cy Young race, (behind the mighty Jarrod Washburn, who has like 8 or 9 wins with an era of 5.00something). I will never figure it out. Why is there no love for Wisconsin. |

one more thing for those who care.... Brewers Team Pitching stats ERA......2.74 (2nd in MLB behind the Mets) Hits allowed.......639 (2nd, Dodgers) Runs allowed.......314 (2nd, Cubs) Walks..............225 (5th, Yankees, Cards, Twins, Padres) Strikeouts.........502 (11th, Cubs and the Twins are the only teams ahead of the Brewers in this and another category) Conclusion? The Brewers are the BEST pitching team in baseball. |

So this intern guy who has been working there for like 6 or 7 months and only has like one semester of school left, is talking to this other older guy who didn't even go to school for computers, and they're seriously discussing memory allocation in C#. The old guy was semi-confidently explaining the concept of "new" and they were talking about scope issues and classes. Most of the people there are from UW-Whitewater and they' re MCS (management computer science) or something. I think their degree should be CSN instead, computer science n00b. |

Well, it was fun while it lasted. 2 blowouts from the Pirates sure does spoil a good streak. |
