A Democrat in the White House?

The Election outcome determined on Halloween
How's the draft treatin' everyone? Does this mean McKenzie is definitely out? I enjoyed the Manning trade at least. I was very upset with the Cowboys screwing us over. They always go out of their way to screw us over. Damn Cowboys.

I didn't think my boy Lee Evans would go that high. It seems like the Packers have drafted 500 defensive backs over the last 5 drafts, yet they never have enough (good ones anyway) when the season rolls around. The Manning trade is quite interesting. The Giants paid a big price, but he could be worth it. Cleveland was foolish to move from 7 to 6 for a second-rounder. At first, the Cowboys trade seemed like a good deal for them, but now RBs have been going like hotcakes and it's starting to look pretty foolish. Rams made a good trade to move up and get Jackson. The Bucks were stanky and lost to the Pistons, how annoying. Then again, the Bucks really only have one All-Star caliber player and I still haven't figured out how they can compete with Detroit. The Brewers have won 4 of 5 though and are looking good. Chris Saenz made his major league debut today and did very well: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 W, 7 K and picked up the win. It does seem like McKenzie is outtie, but if he is really going they should have traded him before the draft so they could have had a draft pick to do whatever they wanted with. I still haven't really heard what exactly his deal is. Maybe they shouldn't trade him and he can just sit in the timeout chair and think about what he's done for a year. |

PS The Packers don't need to find Farve's replacement yet anyway, so the Cowboys attempt to screw us over may have screwed them over more than us anyway. If Farve hasn't retired yet, he'll play at least 3 more years I would think. Drafting a young QB at this point would just create trouble because that QB wouldn't want to ride the pine for that long. If I was a QB going before 4th round I would pull a Manning with GB. |

I would have a hard time rooting for the packers if that game literally determined the election, let alone rooting for them for some lame coincidence. Besides, Kerry doesn't need their help as long as bush keeps holding press confrences and then not answering the questions in any way shape or form. I think the Cowboys picked a player they wanted and needed. I dont think anyteam has ever said "well we can't use this guy but I hate this other team so lets take him" Remember in 1999 when the packers took like 9 cb's in the draft? I like to call that their Randy Moss draft. ps Is anyone else really afraid of the lions all of a sudden? |

I read that the Packers probably weren't going to take losman anyway. Granted, that might not be the case, but I read it on espn.com and those guys always seem to have the inside track. |
